Bay Area Bait and Tackle Shop Continues Recovering From Storms
Cleanup Underway After Series of Winter Storms
A Bay Area bait and tackle shop is continuing to recover from a series of winter storms that caused extensive damage to the business.
The storms, which hit the area in January and February, brought high winds, heavy rain, and flooding. The flooding caused significant damage to the shop's inventory and equipment.
Shop Owner Grateful for Community Support
The shop's owner, John Smith, said he is grateful for the community's support in the wake of the storms.
“The community has been really great,” Smith said. “We've had people coming in to help us clean up, and we've had people donating money and supplies.”
Shop Expects to Reopen Soon
Smith said he expects the shop to reopen soon.
“We're still cleaning up, but we're making progress,” Smith said. “We should be open again by the end of the month.”
