Cavs' Jarrett Allen plans to play Wednesday after avoiding major injury on gruesome fall
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen suffered a scary fall during Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors, but he is reportedly planning to play in Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Allen fell hard on his left shoulder after attempting to block a shot by Raptors forward Pascal Siakam in the third quarter. He was helped off the court and did not return to the game. X-rays taken at the arena were negative, and an MRI on Tuesday confirmed that Allen did not suffer any major injuries.
Allen is a key player for the Cavaliers, averaging 16.4 points and 10.9 rebounds per game this season. His return to the lineup will be a boost for a team that is currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavaliers will be hoping that Allen is able to play on Wednesday, as they look to extend their winning streak to three games. The Pacers are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference, but they have won two of their last three games.
