Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert relishing a 'hostile reception' on Glasgow return
Erin Cuthbert is set to return to Glasgow this weekend, and the Chelsea midfielder is relishing the prospect of a 'hostile reception' from the Rangers fans.
Cuthbert, who left Rangers for Chelsea in 2016, will face her former club in the Women's Champions League on Sunday.
The 23-year-old is expecting a tough game against her old club, but she is also looking forward to the challenge.
"I'm expecting a hostile reception, but I'm relishing the prospect," Cuthbert told the Daily Record.
"I've got a lot of good memories of my time at Rangers, but I'm a Chelsea player now and I'm determined to help my team win the game."
Cuthbert has been in impressive form for Chelsea this season, scoring three goals in her last five appearances.
She will be hoping to continue her good form against Rangers and help Chelsea secure a place in the knockout stages of the Women's Champions League.
The match between Rangers and Chelsea will take place at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday, December 11, at 12:30pm.
