Chelsea's Hudson-Odoi stunned after Champions League debut
Blues youngster makes history against PAOK
20-year-old played more minutes than he has all season in Europe
Callum Hudson-Odoi couldn’t hide his delight after making his Champions League debut for Chelsea on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old came off the bench with 21 minutes to go against PAOK and helped the Blues see out a 2-0 win in Greece.
It was a special moment for Hudson-Odoi, who has been out of action since April with an Achilles injury.
"This was beyond my wildest dreams playing as much as I have for Chelsea," he said.
"I’m just happy to be back playing and helping the team. I’m just grateful for the opportunity.
“It’s been a long road back, but I’m feeling good now and I’m just happy to be back playing.
"I’ve been working hard in training and I’m just happy to be back out there on the pitch.
“I’m just taking it game by game and I’m just happy to be back playing.
“The team played well and we got the win, so I’m happy.
“We’re going to take each game as it comes and we’re going to try to win every game.
“We’re going to try to win every trophy that we can.
“We’re just going to take it game by game and we’re going to try to win every game.
Hudson-Odoi’s return is a big boost for Chelsea, who have been without a number of key players this season.
The Blues are now top of Group H in the Champions League and will face Lille in their next match on October 2.
