Greece vs England: What England need to do to secure UEFA Nations League promotion
England will be looking to secure promotion to League A of the UEFA Nations League when they face Greece on Monday.
Gareth Southgate's side currently top Group C3 with seven points from their three games, while Greece are bottom with just one point.
A win for England would guarantee them top spot in the group, while a draw would be enough if Hungary fail to beat Germany.
Greece, meanwhile, need to win to have any chance of avoiding relegation to League D.
Here is what England need to do to secure promotion to League A of the UEFA Nations League:
- Win their match against Greece.
- Hope that Hungary fail to beat Germany.
If England win their match against Greece, they will be promoted to League A regardless of the result of the Hungary vs Germany match.
However, if England draw their match against Greece, they will need Hungary to fail to beat Germany in order to secure promotion.
Greece, meanwhile, need to win their match against England and hope that Hungary fail to beat Germany in order to avoid relegation to League D.
The match between England and Greece will be played at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, Greece.
The match will kick off at 19:45 BST.
