Los Angeles, CA (February 23, 2023) - Japanese singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba has announced her highly anticipated seventh studio album, 'Luminescent Creatures,' which will be released on March 10th via Fire Records. Alongside the album announcement, Aoba has also revealed plans for her first North American tour, with stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, and New York City.
Produced by longtime collaborator Koji Kondo, 'Luminescent Creatures' is a captivating collection of songs that showcase Aoba's signature blend of ethereal folk, jazz, and electronica. The album's title track is a dreamy, piano-led ballad that sets the tone for the rest of the record, which explores themes of love, loss, and the search for inner peace.
