In Her First Week in Office: Dorothy Pérez Appoints New Regional Comptrollers

Newly sworn-in Comptroller of Puerto Rico Dorothy Pérez wasted no time filling key leadership positions in her agency's regional offices. Within her first week in office, Pérez appointed eight individuals to serve as regional comptrollers across the island:

Region 2 (Bayamón): José A. Rodríguez
Region 3 (Arecibo): Carmen I. Rivera
Region 4 (Mayagüez): Luis A. Morales
Region 5 (Ponce): Juan C. López
Region 6 (Guayama): Ana M. Torres
Region 7 (Fajardo): Miguel A. Pérez
Region 8 (Caguas): Sandra I. Ortiz

The comptroller's regional offices are responsible for conducting audits and investigations of government agencies and municipalities within their respective regions.
