India are off to a strong start in the third and final T20I against South Africa. They have reached 107/2 after 12 overs, with Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav currently at the crease.
Abhishek Sharma departed after scoring a brilliant 50 off 30 balls. He hit four boundaries and three sixes during his knock.
South Africa won the toss and elected to field first. They got off to a good start, with Kagiso Rabada dismissing Ruturaj Gaikwad for a duck in the first over.
However, India have since recovered well, thanks to the efforts of Sharma and Kishan. The duo put on a 62-run partnership for the second wicket.
Yadav then joined Kishan at the crease and the pair have continued to score at a brisk pace. They have added 45 runs for the third wicket so far.
South Africa need to take wickets if they want to get back into the match. India, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their strong start and post a big total.
