Emily Blunt reacts hilariously to John Krasinski's new title

'The Office' star John Krasinski has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2022.

The actor, who is best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom, was surprised and honored by the designation.

"I'm so surprised, and I'm so flattered," Krasinski told People. "I'm going to have to call my mom and tell her."

Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt, also reacted to the news with humor, tweeting, "I can confirm that this is true. My husband is, in fact, the sexiest man alive. And yes, I would know."

Krasinski is the second "Office" star to be named Sexiest Man Alive, following in the footsteps of Steve Carell, who received the honor in 2005.

Krasinski has been married to Blunt since 2010, and they have two daughters together. He is currently starring in the Amazon Prime Video series "Jack Ryan."
