The Atlanta Hawks won their third straight game Saturday night, knocking off the Orlando Magic 129-111 behind a 28-point performance from Trae Young.
Atlanta has quietly won four of its last five games to move to 29-29 on the season, just four games back of the Miami Heat for the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Huerter continues to play a big role for the Hawks, averaging 12.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this season. The 24-year-old is shooting 44.9% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range.
Huerter played well Saturday night, knocking down four three-pointers and finishing 6-of-13 from the field overall. He also added five rebounds and four assists.
The Magic have now lost three of their last four games and are now 20-37 on the season. They are 14th in the Eastern Conference standings.
Orlando was led by Franz Wagner, who had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Wendell Carter Jr. added 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Paolo Banchero finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.
The Hawks will be back in action Monday night when they host the Los Angeles Clippers. The Magic will be back in action Tuesday night when they host the Chicago Bulls.
