Kyshawn George: Scores 15 Points in Loss
Wizards Fall to 1-17 Despite Kyshawn George's Strong Performance
Kyshawn George, who spent last season in the NBA G League, made the most of his opportunity Tuesday night. He scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Chicago Bulls. However, it wasn't enough as the Washington Wizards (1-17) fell to the Chicago Bulls (10-8), 106-85, at the United Center.
George's Performance a Bright Spot in Dismal Loss
George, who split last season between the Capital City Go-Go and Wisconsin Herd, showed why he deserves a spot in the NBA. He made 7 of 11 attempts from the field and pulled down seven rebounds in 23 minutes. His teammates didn't provide much help, with Kristaps Porzingis scoring only 14 points on 5-of-14 shooting.
Despite his strong performance, George was disappointed with the loss. "I'm just trying to come in and play hard," he said. "It's frustrating when we don't win."
