Outnumbered Reunion: Cast Return for Children in Need Special
Original cast members reunite for a one-off sketch for the BBC's annual charity fundraiser.
The Royle Family's Ricky Tomlinson also makes a special appearance in the 10-minute sketch.
The cast of Outnumbered will reunite for a one-off sketch for the BBC's annual Children in Need fundraiser. The special will air on Friday, November 18, and will see the original cast members reprise their roles as the Brockman family.
The sketch will see the Brockman family reunited for Christmas, with Ben (Daniel Roche) now a teenager, Karen (Ramona Marquez) a pre-teen, and Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey) still the youngest of the family. The family will be joined by their parents, Pete (Hugh Dennis) and Sue (Claire Skinner), and their grandfather, played by Ricky Tomlinson.
The sketch will be written by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, the creators of Outnumbered. The original cast members are all excited to be reunited for the special, and they are looking forward to seeing how the Brockman family has grown up since the series ended in 2014.
"It's going to be great to be back together with the Outnumbered family," said Hugh Dennis. "We've all kept in touch over the years, and it's going to be a lot of fun to get back into character and see how the Brockmans have changed."
"I'm really excited to be part of the Children in Need special," said Claire Skinner. "Outnumbered was such a special show, and it's going to be great to revisit it for such a good cause."
The Children in Need special will air on BBC One on Friday, November 18, at 7pm.
