Pakistan coach hails Jasprit Bumrah and Pat Cummins as 'unplayable' bowlers
Pakistan coach Saqlain Mushtaq has heaped praise on India's Jasprit Bumrah and Australia's Pat Cummins, describing them as "unplayable" bowlers.
Mushtaq, a former Pakistan spinner, said that Bumrah and Cummins are the best bowlers in the world and that they can trouble any batsman on any day.
“Bumrah and Cummins are the best bowlers in the world right now,” Mushtaq said. “They are both unplayable at times and they can trouble any batsman on any day.”
Mushtaq said that Bumrah's yorkers are particularly difficult to play, while Cummins' ability to generate swing and seam is unmatched.
"Bumrah's yorkers are deadly," Mushtaq said. "He can bowl them at any time and they are almost impossible to play. Cummins, on the other hand, is a great swing and seam bowler. He can make the ball talk and he is always a threat to take wickets."
Mushtaq's comments come ahead of Pakistan's upcoming tour of Australia, where they will face Cummins and the Australian bowling attack.
Pakistan will play three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20I against Australia, starting on December 17.
