Police investigating shooting that left one man injured in Port Richmond

Incident took place on Feb. 24, 2023, in the 2300 block of East Somerset Street

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured in Port Richmond on Friday night.

The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 2300 block of East Somerset Street.

According to police, a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times in the abdomen and leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and interviewing witnesses.
