San Francisco Police Department investigating homicide at Market and Main Street near Embarcadero BART station
Overview
On 20 July 2023 at 10:10 pm PST, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) responded to reports of a shooting at Market and Main Street near the Embarcadero BART station. Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The SFPD is currently investigating the homicide and has not yet released any information about a suspect or motive.
