A man with violent tendencies was arrested after a foot chase with deputies in Wisconsin on Thursday, according to the Barron County Sheriff's Office.

The incident began at around 11:30 p.m. when a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on County Road C near Cameron, Wisconsin.

The driver, later identified as 32-year-old Jacob J. Leigh, fled from the traffic stop in his vehicle, leading deputies on a short pursuit.
