A signalling fault at Wimbledon station is causing major delays to South Western Railway services.

Trains between London Waterloo and Guildford, Reading and Windsor & Eton Riverside are affected.

Delays of up to 45 minutes are expected, and passengers are advised to check before travelling.

A spokesperson for South Western Railway said:

"We are sorry for the disruption to our services this morning.

"We are working to fix the fault as quickly as possible and will provide updates as soon as they are available."

In the meantime, passengers are advised to use alternative routes or consider delaying their journey.
