Suspect Sought in Fatal Stabbing at Embarcadero BART Station

A fatal stabbing at the Embarcadero BART station in San Francisco has left one person dead and authorities searching for the suspect.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 pm on Tuesday, February 28th. According to witnesses, an altercation broke out between two individuals on the platform. The altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, during which one person was fatally stabbed.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled the station after the stabbing and remains at large.
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is actively investigating the incident. They have released surveillance footage of the suspect, who is described as a male, approximately 25-30 years old, with a thin build and short hair.
