Tesco urges customers to 'Celebrate Safely' this Christmas
Asda, Morrisons, Iceland and Aldi have all announced Christmas delivery slots are now available.
Tesco has become the latest supermarket to launch its Christmas delivery slots - and it is urging customers to “Celebrate Safely” this year.
The supermarket giant is encouraging shoppers to plan ahead and book their delivery slots early to avoid disappointment, as it expects demand to be high.
Tesco is also asking customers to follow social distancing guidelines when collecting their groceries in-store or having them delivered to their homes.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We know that Christmas is a special time for many of our customers, and we want to make sure that everyone can celebrate safely this year.
"We are asking our customers to plan ahead and book their delivery slots early to avoid disappointment, and to follow social distancing guidelines when collecting their groceries in-store or having them delivered to their homes.”
Tesco has also launched a range of new Christmas products, including a vegan Wellington and a pigs in blankets stuffing wreath.
The supermarket is also offering a range of festive meal deals, including a three-course Christmas dinner for £20.
