Tesla Offers A Year Of Supercharging For Free In Europe As It Chases Record Q4 Deliveries To Outpace A Slowdown

Tesla's End of Quarter Push

Tesla is offering a year of free Supercharging to customers in Europe who take delivery of a new Model 3 or Model Y before the end of the year. The automaker is pushing to achieve record Q4 deliveries to offset a slowdown in demand.

Tesla has faced challenges this year, including production issues, supply chain disruptions, and a dip in demand in China. The automaker has responded by cutting prices and offering incentives in an effort to boost sales.

Q4 Delivery Goal

Tesla is aiming to deliver a record number of vehicles in the fourth quarter, with a target of more than 450,000 units. This would be more than double Tesla's previous record of 241,300 deliveries set in the fourth quarter of 2021.

To meet its Q4 delivery goal, Tesla is ramping up production at its factories in Fremont, California; Austin, Texas; Berlin, Germany; and Shanghai, China. The automaker is also increasing its production capacity with the addition of a new factory near Reno, Nevada.

Supercharging Incentive

Tesla's year of free Supercharging is a significant incentive for customers. Supercharging is Tesla's network of fast-charging stations, which allow Tesla owners to charge their vehicles for free. The incentive is a way for Tesla to attract new customers and to encourage them to take delivery of a new vehicle before the end of the year.

The free Supercharging incentive is available to customers in Europe who order a new Model 3 or Model Y before December 31st and take delivery before the end of the year. The incentive is not available on Tesla's other models, the Model S and Model X.
