The Madrid-Cuenca-Valencia AVE line will resume normal service this Thursday, after being interrupted on Monday due to a train derailment.
The derailment occurred at around 9:45 am on Monday, near the town of Utiel in the province of Valencia.
The train, which was carrying around 100 passengers, derailed after hitting a fallen tree on the tracks. There were no injuries, and only minor damage was caused to the tracks.
The derailment caused significant delays to train services on the line, with some trains being cancelled or diverted.
Renfe, the Spanish national railway operator, has been working to repair the tracks and restore normal service as soon as possible.
Passengers are advised to check the Renfe website or app for the latest information on train times.
