Troon chippy fish suppers named as the best in Ayrshire

Two Ayrshire chippies have been crowned the best fish supper takeaways in the whole of Ayrshire

The awards come after they received glowing reviews from customers on food review website Just Eat.

The fish suppers from The Bay View in Troon were named as the best in North Ayrshire.

And it was the Sea View in Ayr who were handed the title of South Ayrshire's top takeaway fish supper.

The chippy, which is on North Shore Road, has long been a favourite among locals.

And customers have praised them on Just Eat for their "generous portions" and "incredible quality".

One happy customer wrote: "The fish supper from here is amazing. Seriously one of the best chippies I have ever been to.

"The fish is always juicy and the portions are generous."

Another customer wrote: "We visit here regularly and have never been disappointed.

"The fish and chips are cooked to perfection and always piping hot."

The Sea View, on Ayr's Prestwick Road, has also been praised for its delicious fish suppers.

Customers have praised them for their "great tasting fish" and "crispy chips".

One customer wrote: "I've tried a lot of fish suppers in my time but the Sea View is definitely one of the best."

"The fish is really great tasting and the chips are always crispy."

Another customer wrote: "The Sea View is our favourite chippy.
