Turkish Football Federation Deny Contact Between Roma and Montella

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has denied reports that there has been any contact between Roma and Vincenzo Montella regarding the vacant managerial position at the Turkish national team.

Montella, who was sacked by Roma in December, has been linked with the Turkey job in recent weeks, but the TFF has now moved to quash those rumors.

TFF Statement

"The TFF has not had any contact with Vincenzo Montella or his representatives regarding the vacant managerial position for the Turkish national team," the TFF said in a statement.

"The TFF is currently in the process of evaluating other candidates for the role."

Montella's Future

Montella has been out of work since being sacked by Roma, but he has been linked with a number of jobs in recent weeks, including the vacant managerial positions at Crystal Palace and Southampton.

It remains to be seen where Montella's future lies, but it seems unlikely that he will be taking over as manager of the Turkish national team.
