Dawgs Rally Back in Second Half to Secure Victory

UW overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to defeat Seattle Pacific 67-55 on Monday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.

The Dawgs were led by Jamal Bey's 17 points, while Keion Brooks Jr. added 16 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Koren Johnson chipped in 12 points and Emmitt Matthews Jr. had 10.

UW shot just 38.9% from the field, but they made up for it by hitting 11 of 29 three-pointers (37.9%). Seattle Pacific shot 40.3% from the field, but they were just 4 of 16 from three-point range (25.0%).

The Dawgs outrebounded Seattle Pacific 38-32 and had 14 assists to the Falcons' 8. UW also forced 15 turnovers, while committing just 11.

The win is UW's second straight and improves their record to 6-5 on the season. Seattle Pacific falls to 5-6.

UW will be back in action on Thursday when they host Montana at Alaska Airlines Arena.
