Ed Boon, the co-creator of Mortal Kombat and creative director of NetherRealm Studios, tweeted a clip showcasing Ghostface in a custom Mortal Kombat 1 build. Ghostface, a horror icon known for his white mask and black robe, looks right at home in the classic 2D fighting game.

The clip shows Ghostface performing a fatality on Johnny Cage. He stabs Cage in the chest, then removes his mask to reveal his own face. He then holds up a knife and screams, causing Cage's head to explode.
