Wasim Akram lauds debutant Aamer Jamal

Pakistan's former captain believes the left-arm quick has a "very bright future"

Pakistan coach Saqlain Mushtaq has named two bowlers he believes are "unplayable" at the moment - and neither of them are Shaheen Shah Afridi or Haris Rauf.

Afridi and Rauf are two of Pakistan's most exciting young fast bowlers, but Mushtaq believes there are two other bowlers who are even better at the moment.

"I think Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain are the two unplayable bowlers in the world right now," Mushtaq said.

"They are both very young and have a lot of potential. I think they can be the best bowlers in the world in the future."

Shah, 19, has taken 75 wickets in 13 Tests, while Hasnain, 22, has taken 31 wickets in nine Tests.

Both bowlers have impressed with their pace and accuracy, and Mushtaq believes they can be a key part of Pakistan's success in the future.

"I am very excited about the future of Pakistan cricket," Mushtaq said.

"We have a lot of young talent, and I think we can be a major force in world cricket in the years to come."

Meanwhile, Wasim Akram has lauded the performance of debutant Aamer Jamal in Pakistan's win over Sri Lanka in the first Test.

Jamal, 21, took 4-82 in Sri Lanka's first innings, and Akram believes he has a "very bright future".

"Aamer Jamal is a very talented bowler," Akram said.

"He has a lot of pace and accuracy, and I think he can be a very good bowler for Pakistan in the future."

Jamal's performance was even more impressive considering he was playing in only his second first-class match.

"It was a very good debut for Aamer Jamal," Akram said.

"He showed a lot of maturity and composure, and I think he has a very bright future ahead of him."
