Pundit issues bold prediction on Tottenham's EPL title hopes this season

Jamie O'Hara believes Antonio Conte's Tottenham squad are genuine title contenders in 2022/23

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara believes Antonio Conte's side are genuine title contenders in the Premier League this season.

Spurs finished fourth last season and have strengthened their squad with the signings of Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Djed Spence and Clement Lenglet.

O'Hara believes Conte has built a squad that can challenge for the title.

O'Hara told talkSPORT: "I think Tottenham can win the league this season. I really do. I think they've got a squad that's capable of doing it.

They've got a great manager in Antonio Conte, they've got a great squad, they've got a great stadium, they've got everything in place to do it. I think they're the team to watch this season."

Tottenham have won two of their three Premier League games so far this season and sit third in the table, two points behind leaders Arsenal.

They will be looking to continue their good start to the season when they face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday.
